UNIT 3: Have you ever had unusual experiences?

TRAVEL TO MARCAHUASI

One of the unusual experiences that I have gone thru was when me and my friends went camping for 3 days in Marcahuasi, a beautiful place full of positive vibes in Lima East.
Indeed, Marcahuasi is a plateau located on the top of a mountain in the Andes in Lima, over 4 000 meters above sea. It is a natural scenery surrounded by deep abyss, which makes Marcahuasi a extraordinary place to visit.
In our first night camping,   the sky was so dark and full of stars that we lay down on the grass in order to admire the beautiful sky. It was one of the most relaxing moments in my life.
During the trip, it happened some unsual things. For example, one morning, while we were getting ready to go trekking to the lake Cachu-Cachu, out of nowhere, a whirlwind passed thru the camping and threw away two tents with all the stuffs inside of them. Evidently, everything was spilled all over the grass. We were so scared but, fortunately, the weather got better, so we went trekking.

In that  same day, in our way to the lake, all the people of the group got lost. I stayed all the time with my friend Josefa, so we continued trekking together. We saw several kinds of animals and plants, we enjoyed looking the amazing landscape and we could meditate surrounded by the nature.  After one-hour hike, we arrived to the lake. All our effort and the tiredeness worth because the lake was such an extraordinary place that i will never forget.
